RITKRITI IT SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED (“Ritkriti”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website https://ritkriti.in/. This Return and Refund Policy explains the conditions under which you can return items or request a refund for orders placed on our platform.

Because we specialize in ultra-fast delivery (30 to 120 minutes) of groceries, fresh food, pharmacy items, and daily essentials, our return policy is designed to balance customer satisfaction with the nature of perishable and time-sensitive products.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Due to the perishable and hygienic nature of most products we deliver, returns are generally not accepted except in the following specific cases:

  • Wrong Item Delivered: You received an item different from what you ordered.
  • Damaged or Defective Product: The item is physically damaged, leaking, or spoiled upon delivery.
  • Expired or Near-Expiry Product: Any product that has expired or is very close to expiry (for packaged items).
  • Missing Items: Part of your order is missing.
  • Quality Issue: Fresh produce, fruits, vegetables, or cooked food that is clearly not fresh or of poor quality.

Note: Opened or used products, personal care items, medicines (pharmacy), and undergarments are strictly non-returnable for hygiene and safety reasons.

2. Time Window for Reporting Issues

  • You must report any issue immediately upon delivery, and no later than 30 minutes after receiving the order.
  • For fresh/frozen/perishable items, complaints must be raised within 15 minutes of delivery with clear photos or videos as proof.
  • After this window, we may not be able to process returns or refunds due to the fast-moving nature of our delivery service.

3. How to Request a Return or Refund

  2. Provide your Order ID and attach clear photos/videos of the issue.
  3. Our team will review your request within 1 hour during business hours.

4. Refund Process

  • If your return/refund request is approved, the refund will be processed as follows:
    • Payment Method Used: Refund will be issued to the original payment method (UPI, Card, Wallet, etc.).
    • Timeline:
      • UPI / Wallets: Within 24 hours
      • Credit/Debit Cards: Within 3–7 business days
      • Cash on Delivery (COD): Refund via bank transfer or wallet credit within 3–5 business days
  • We do not charge any restocking fee for approved returns.
  • In case of partial order issues, only the affected items will be refunded.

5. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

  • Change of mind after delivery
  • Products that have been opened, consumed, or used
  • Normal wear and tear or minor packaging damage that does not affect product quality
  • Incorrect address or missed delivery due to customer unavailability
  • Perishable items that spoil after acceptance of delivery

6. Cancellation Policy

  • You can cancel your order before it is dispatched (usually within the first 10–15 minutes after placing the order).
  • Once the order is picked up by our delivery partner for the 30–120 minute delivery, cancellation is not possible.
  • If you cancel an eligible order, a full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 24 hours.
